LIGHT 'EM UP!

The best defenses is an unexpected defensive strike that no one sees, or even thought was coming until after it reaches its target, and delivers the desired result that was sought by the sender. This is an excellent defense because only the attacker incurs injuries while the targeted individual escapes injury free from the threat. This is what we all would and should hope for if ever faced with a threatening situation. And it is what we all better be prepared for if we want it to happen in our favor.

There is another level of defense that does stand above this one. It is the skillset to launch a defense that stops your attacker without your being harmed, or your attacker being harmed either. It can be done by the one who takes his or her personal protection seriously with planning, preparation, and situational awareness. And all that this Boy Scout needs to accompany a razor sharp attitude is a flashlight.
