...Here's why knife defense wouldn't happen like this...

Even though this was a GREAT way to "try" and demonstrate what would happen in an EMPTY HAND versus KNIFE ATTACK, these are the "REALITY BASED" things about a REAL KNIFE ATTACK that a "fake Knife attack" can never duplicate in a demonstration.

You can hear the animated "slashing/stabbing" sounds that are fabricated every time that the knife wielder supposedly lands a blow. Now they don't "stop the fight" unless it is deemed that the knife cut or stab would have been fatal. But here are the things that would change the fate of the fight when the knife makes contact even when it IS NOT fatal...

#1. The person who got cut would be hurt and instinctively draw back from the item and person that is causing him the pain. Every cut would more than likely make him less aggressive with his attacks, not more aggressive.

#2. The person who got cut/stabbed would be bleeding which would cause him to fatigue, lose energy, and lose equilibrium.

#3. The person who got cut/stabbed would bleed all over both parties making it slippery for grabs, submissions and footing.

Truths about the real street/prison blade. Because when a knife gets pulled, it IS NOT a game. It's best to avoid a knife fight because you end up either DEAD or MAIMED for life.
