Truthfully, both options A & B will have a bad outcome and this is the position that today's youth are placed in by policies that promise suspension for fighting even if one was defending his or herself.  This topic of children fighting has never had a sensible, fair solution.  ...until NOW! 

The solution that I have constructed will protect more than just the child who is using it to rightfully defend himself.  Youth Modern Defense (YMD) protects everyone including the school staff, & even the attacking bully.  And NOW, ...I am giving it away to youth ages 12-15 at NO CHARGE!  Just keep reading to learn more about this on going, self sustaining epidemic of bullying and it's impact on innocents.  Then you can better understand how this YMD will help to yank the legs right from under the power of bullying.

LIFE FACTS...

Someday, somewhere, YOUR CHILD is going to have to FACE a BULLY alone without your aid. Have YOU given your child a FAIR CHANCE & properly prepared him or her for this stand off with a bigger, meaner person who may be interested only in hurting your child at that moment?

Bullying is a very powerful force because it functions in deceptive ways that are hard to pinpoint. Bullying occurs in secluded areas of schools and on playgrounds where adults can not accurately monitor. Bullies are also protected by an unspoken student code that allows him or her to ruin the reputation of his victims with the rest of the students if they choose to report to an adult. These factors leave many victims of bullying hopeless & helpless against these bullies who they eventually surrender to allowing the bully additional freedom to mistreat his victims with no repercussions. And now things have spiked to become even WORSE for the victims through school policies.

The trending ZERO TOLERANCE FIGHTING school rule that SUSPENDS both youth engaging in a fight even if one was defending himself.  It's obvious that these policies hurt only the kids who "want" to be in school learning, not the one who doesn't. In fact, it may even influence bullies to become worse against those who do not want to be suspended.

As a self-defense instructor I recognize that it is beyond unfair to command and expect a person who is under a physical attack, not to defend their self with an immediate return of force! The concept is outrageous & belittling to the value of our children who are expected to allow school trouble makers to beat their faces in if they feel like it that day.  After plenty of unbiased resarching on the predicted postivie outcome of this idea, it always circled back to the victim getting his face punched in for doing the "right thing" of not fighting back.  This wasn't sitting well with me so I got involved and discovered a way to help the kids that bullies target, their educators, & even the mislead bullies. My solution was the creation of "Youth's Modern Defense."

What makes YMD different or better than other martial art self-defense styles that are taught to kids? Youth Modern Defense is structured with techniques that provide TOTAL protection for the youth from more than just an attacking bully! It protects youth user from legal issues, & possible parent retaliation that will arise if lethal, bone breaking martial arts techniques are executed on the bully who still is a peer student. YMD does not teach such techniques to youth which also protects school property and staff from liability issues.  And most importantly, ...YMD protects youth users from the unforgving whip of the "0 Tolerance Fight Policy" because the techniques that I personally formatted "Youth's Modern Defense" program with can not be defined as 'fighting"...
